My Rating: 6 out of 10
My Short Word Review:
An unoriginal plot but still a solid thriller mixed with a mystery. Violent at times. Repetitive at times. Great acting by Kidman and Firth. Firth rocks in this part. Really enjoyed his persona and his ultimate conclusion to the character. The movie is slow at times and seems like you’re watching the same thing over and over again but I liked the twist and turn and the conclusion was a great showdown and ultimate finding of the real truth of what was happening. I liked the direction and even though the story has been done many times with the idea of, lack of memory, I still felt this one worked because of the solid performance by Kidman. She was wonderful in her exploration of the part and made you believe her horror in not knowing anything.
